They call me Mrs. Brodnik

It's been 3.5yrs since I closed the doors on my 13yr engineering career at Intel. It was the right decision for me and my family and I'm so grateful I have the opportunity to be a "stay at home mom"......don't like the title, though. A couple weeks ago I interviewed, got the job and filled out a W4.......to be a substitute teacher at my kids school. My first assignment was to fill in for the music teacher. It was fun and my kids thought it was pretty cool I was going to be their teacher......in a couple years they will be mortified. I enjoy spending time in the classroom so being a sub is simply fun for me. Our school is small so I won't be called too often, which is just right for me.
