Tissue Graft
I had my tissue graft yesterday. My dr harvested connective tissue behind my last top molar where my wisdom tooth used to sit. Then he stitched it on my lower front teeth. It's sore and hard to eat. Stitches come out in a week. It should get easier to eat soon.

Half Ironman - SOMA
Yesterday Mark completed his final race before AZ Ironman. 70.3 miles.....1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and 13.1 mile run. He did it in 5hrs 18min. He was happy with his time. We are so proud of him! 4 weeks until the full Ironman.....140.6 miles on November 20. Can't believe it's almost here.

Fall Break
For fall break, we drove to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon where we camped for 3 nights. It was a bit chilly at night, but not horrible. We LOVED the north rim......not crowded, quaint, beautiful. The camp ground was nice. We'd love to return someday. Of the 5 million visitor to the Grand Canyon only 10% visit the North Rim. Sorry for the photo dump.....you can scroll fast!!
On the way, we stopped to inspect the Navajo Bridge & the Colorado River near Lee's Ferry.

Texas Cousins
Several weeks ago, my mom, my daugher and I went to Texas to visit and watch my brother's two little girls while he & his wife took a weekend away. Lois was simply tickled to spend so much time with her cousins and to act like a big sister.
