On October 9th, I competed in a sprint relay tri with friends. Mark did the Olympic distance all by himself. It was a fun morning at a beautiful venue. Better yet, we won the relay division!! I did the run and it was brutal. Only a 5k, but it was very steep! I was super fast on the downhill on the way out and super slow on the way back. Great event! Thanks Team L! Tidbit for you baseball fans.......before the race we saw this guy that looked just like Eric Byrnes. We didn't think much of it.......would he seriously be at Lake Pleasant for a tri! Sure enough at the end of the race when they are doing awards, Eric won his age group! Too funny! Nice guy.
