Organic & EWG

Organic foods are more expensive and not readily available in many grocery stores. So, why is it worth it to buy organic if you have the choice? Pesticides are not good for you. I try to buy mostly all organic produce for my family. I use the EWG (Enivornmental Working Group) as my guide to buy conventional when it's reasonable to do so. See the dirty dozen list below. Use it as your guide to feed your family. Organic is becoming cheaper and easier to find. Organic apples are sold in many varieties at Costco and are affordable. It doesn't have to be expensive to eat healthy.

EWG is a wonderful source of information for finding safe products. I especially use it for sunscreens and cosmetic type products. I just recently purchased a new facial cleanser and lotion with sunscreen that I love. It's called Devita. Great line of products.
