"We gain strength, and courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face....we must do that which we think we cannot."

Pat's Run

We ran Pat's Run again this year.  4.2 miles in Tempe, finishing in the ASU stadium on the 42 yard line.  Pat Tillman was an amazing person, athlete and soldier who was killed in Afghanistan in 2004.  He wore #42 when playing for the Sundevils, thus the "42" theme for the race.   30,000 people came out this year to honor Pat.  It's a pretty amazing event.
During the race, I wore pink compression socks to honor another fallen athlete, Sally Meyerhoff, a champion marathon winner.  She died in March in Maricopa, AZ.    Race in Peace, Sally.
